Mint Neurotechnologies Ltd (MintNeuro) is thrilled to announce the launch of the “EXPLORE” project, supported by a £100k grant awarded by Innovate UK through the Biomedical Catalyst Feasibility Competition 2023. This initiative builds on the success of the DREAM project by providing access to partners seeking to apply our innovative neural sensing technology beyond the initial application for Drug-Resistant Epilepsy. The project aims to transform patient outcomes across a range of neurological conditions.

Innovative Continuation of Success

Neural implants represent a transformative breakthrough in medical technology, offering new hope for patients with debilitating neurological conditions. By providing actionable insight for physicians and unlocking closed-loop treatment modalities, the addition of neural recording to existing devices marks a significant advancement in the treatment of neurological disorders. EXPLORE aims to unlock these benefits by expanding access to our proprietary semiconductor technology for sensing neural signals, developed originally for Epilepsy neuromonitoring, to conditions that affect millions worldwide.

The EXPLORE project will deploy the neural sensing chips in a wide range of clinical applications. We will be working with industry partners to evaluate the use of our neural sensing chips in their ongoing development work, opening new avenues for collaboration and technological refinement.
